Linings
It’s the inside which gives a tie weight, spring and elasticity. We have selected the best wool yarn all over the world to have high quality fabrics so that our products can be resistant to the numerous twists due to knotting.
Pure wool London (weight gr/mtq 245): a non napped, very dry material which allows a very thin knot. This giving evidence to the silk but keeping its function of supporting the tie at the same time.
Pure wool Double (weight gr/mtq 360): a material which consists of two layers of wool loom linked. It is heavy, very springy. It allows an average firmness knot which well suits the silk.
Pure Cotton (weight gr/mtq 90): It’s a matching material, napped on one side. When used, it increases the thickness of the tie without making it heavier.

Shape
Linings can be cut in different shapes. This allows ties of different sizes and widths. After choosing the basic width of the tie (measures vary from 7.cm to 10.5cm), it must be considered the front which can be in the shape of a “bottle”, “half bottle” or linear. At last the length can be chosen from cm 145cm to cm 160cm.

Embroidery
It’s fundamental in order to have a personal tie. If one of our customers is used to having his monogram sewn on his shirts, we offer having his monogram sewn on the small end of the tie. Otherwise the monograms can be embroidered on the pad just below the knot ( 33/38cm from the ending tip) or on the 45° ending tip.
